Our Lady’s March 25th Message

“Dear children! In this time of grace I call you to take the cross of my beloved SonOurLadyofMedjugorje3 Jesus in your hands and to meditate on His passion and death. May your suffering be united in His suffering and love will win, because He who is love gave Himself out of love to save each of you. Pray, pray, pray until love and peace begin to reign in your hearts. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Our Lady’s March 18th Message – Powerful!

Blessed be the Name of Jesus forever and ever!!!

Friends, please see Our Lady’s message below, delivered earlier today to Mirjana in Medjugorje on her birthday. Very powerful!

“Dear children! I call you to, with complete trust and joy, bless the name of the LordOurLadyofMedjugorje3 and, day by day, to give Him thanks from the heart for His great love. My Son, through that love which He showed by the Cross, gave you the possibility to be forgiven for everything; so that you do not have to be ashamed or to hide, and out of fear not to open the door of your heart to my Son. To the contrary, my children, reconcile with the Heavenly Father so that you may be able to mirjanacome to love yourselves as my Son loves you. When you come to love yourselves, you will also love others; in them you will see my Son and recognize the greatness of His love. Live in faith! Through me, my Son is preparing you for the works which He desires to do through you – works through which He desires to be glorified. Give Him thanks. Especially thank Him for the shepherds – for your intercessors in the reconciliation with the Heavenly Father. I am thanking you, my children. Thank you.”

Experiencing Medjugorje & Heaven’s Sense of Humor: Judy Pellatt’s Story

Judy Pellatt is a Titulaire of the Hospitalite Notre Dame de Lourdes and worked voluntarily in the baths at Lourdes for 25 years before ill health prevented her carrying on and she finally stopped in  2005.  The following year, quite out of the blue, a thought came into Judy’s mind. She wondered: whatever happened to Medjugorje? Judy had heard about Medjugorje very early on but had put it to the back of her mind as her association and work with Lourdes deepened. She decided to do an internet search and discovered to her amazement that the events in Medjugorje were still happening. She had to go—simple as that, and by the following May, she was in Medjugorje.

Judy had an introduction to Medjugorje that few people have, experiencing in the process God’s amazing sense of humor, as Heaven smiled down on her. In her own words, here’s Judy’s testimony:

Judy Pellatt with visionary Mirjana Soldo, in front of Mirjana’s house

“My first visit to Medjugorje was in late April 2007. I arrived knowing very little but aware that Mirjana had her monthly apparition on the 2nd of every month. On our first full day, our guide took us up Apparition Hill but strongly suggested that as a storm was approaching, we didn’t stay but make our way back down as quickly as possible. It was very much a case of “Hello Our Lady, goodbye Our Lady, I‘ll be back.” I was one of the first to descend and decided that I could probably make it back before the rain set in. However, I couldn’t remember the way we had come and promptly set off in the wrong direction.

I had only gone about a hundred meters or so when the rain began to fall quite heavily. I remembered having passed a house with a little archway at the bottom of the drive and so decided to walk back the 50 meters or so to shelter there. I didn’t think the owners would mind as I wouldn’t actually be on their property and anyway, it would only be for a few minutes until the rain passed over.

So I took up position under the arch and scanned the skies to try and guess which way the clouds were coming but couldn’t. The rain just got heavier and heavier and the sky darker and darker and more menacing. After about fifteen minutes I began to get a bit scared. How was I going to get back?  I looked at my watch, it was 5.40pm. So I said to Our Lady, “You are going to have to help me, I have no idea how I’m going to get back. Please send me a taxi or something.”

Within a minute, a man came out of the house, got into a big 4×4 car and reversed down the driveway. I stood aside to let him pass. He wound down the window and asked me if I was going to the church and would I like a lift. I accepted gratefully and got in. He was listening to Radio Mir and the rosary was nearing completion so I didn’t say much at first. After a few minutes he asked if I knew whose car it was. I thought what a bizarre question. How could I possibly know whose car it was, so I said “No.“

He then said, “I am the husband of Mirjana and you are sitting where she normally sits.” I looked at him in utter astonishment and uttered a rather high pitched “ohh!” As I regained my composure, the conversation continued and he told me how they had been in England the previous year. As we neared the church the rain was lashing down out of the heavens and the thunder and lightening was something else. He knew lots of people en-route and waved at them all. Afterwards, I thought they probably thought I was Mirjana. I do have blond hair but short not long!

He dropped me off and I thanked him profusely and said what a pleasure it was to meet him and promised to pray for Mirjana. As I walked away a thunderbolt hit the spot where he had stopped. I had no idea of the significance of 5:40pm nor did I know it was Mirjana’s house. I asked Our Lady to “send me a taxi or something” and she sent me Mirjana’s husband. If that wasn’t an answer to prayer, I don’t know what is!!!!

As a postscript to this story. The following year I stayed with Mirjana in her house as part of an American pilgrimage group. She kindly posed for a photo and it was only much later I realized that the backdrop was the little arch I had sheltered under the year before. Heaven has a sense of humor!”

Editor’s Note: in 2014, Judy will be celebrating 30 years as a Carmelite Tertiary. She has been given permission and is working on setting up a Medjugorje prayer group in her parish in England. I thank Judy for sharing her story!

Live Stream Tomorrow of Our Lady’s Apparition to Mirjana (also, Pope Francis & Medjugorje)

Friends,

Happy Sunday!

Please click here to join MaryTV tomorrow for a live stream of Our Lady’s annual apparition in Medjugorje to visionary Mirjana Soldo. The streaming begins at 8:30 am EDT, and the apparition will take place around 8:45 am EDT here in the States (this will be 1:30 pm and 1:45 pm in Medjugorje time).

March 18th is Mirjana’s birthday, when Our Lady promised to come back to the MirjanaPrayer_cropvisionary each year after her daily apparitions ended. A few years ago, when I first visited Medjugorje, a cousin of one of the visionaries told me that March 18 will also be an important date in relation to the Medjugorje secrets, and therefore when Our Lady returns to Mirjana on the day, the two discuss these monumental matters among themselves. Please tune in for this prayerful event!

Also, I wanted to share this great post from Bernard Gallagher’s Crown of Stars blog, an interview with Sister Emmanuel Maillard of Medjugorje that speaks beautifully about Pope Francis and his connections to Medjugorje.

Friends, may God bless you and Our Lady always watch over you!!

Blessed be Pope Francis!!!

“What we are before God, that we are and nothing else.” — Francis of Assisi

Blessed be Pope Francis and his Apostolic Ministry!!!

PopeFrancis

What a joy it was to see such a holy man elected as Pope, following the evident display of sanctity that is so clear in Benedict XVI’s life. The facts are fascinating regarding Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, Pope Francis:

– the first Jesuit in history to be elected and the first from the Americas

– a man of great intellectual rigour yet balanced properly with a humble and prayerful life of holiness and interior depth

– someone who, as archbishop, refused to live in the archbishop’s palace (choosing a small apartment) and who refused to be driven around in a limousine (choosing to use public transportation and be one with the people)

– someone who respects Church teaching and orthodoxy on issues like abortion, gay marriage, the sanctity of human life in all forms, and — like Christ the Lord — is not afraid to be a “sign of contradiction”

– someone with a deep devotion to Our Lady and the Holy Eucharist

– someone who was “very happy” to hear that one of his bishops visited Medjugorje

– someone who chose the beloved name of Francis — oh, Francis of Assisi!!! Do saints get any dearer, the “sublime fool,” a holy man of God who, through his conversion and the fire of the Holy Spirit, was able to set the world aflame for Christ. His love for the poor and for the Crucified Jesus, as suffering Servant, were beyond remarkable.

Let us pray, dear friends, for Pope Francis as he embarks on his Apostolic Ministry and leads the Church of Jesus Christ, as His chosen Vicar, into the future. Peace & abundant blessings!

Our Lady’s March 2, 2013 Message: “He will give you the strength for a new life.”

Dear friends, sorry for getting this out a day late — been on the road and away from my computer the last few days. Please check out Our Lady’s beautiful message. Many, many blessings!

“Dear children! Anew, in a motherly way, I am calling you not to be of a hardOurLadyofMedjugorje3 heart. Do not shut your eyes to the warnings which the Heavenly Father sends to you out of love. Do you love Him above all else? Do you repent for having often forgotten that the Heavenly Father, out of His great love, sent his Son to redeem us by the Cross? Do you repent for not yet having accepted the message? My children, do not resist the love of my Son. Do not resist hope and peace. Along with your prayer and fasting, by His cross, my Son will cast away the darkness that wants to surround you and come to rule over you. He will give you the strength for a new life. Living it according to my Son, you will be a blessing and a hope to all those sinners who wander in the darkness of sin. My children, keep vigil. I, as a mother, am keeping vigil with you. I am especially praying and watching over those whom my Son called to be light-bearers and carriers of hope for you – for your shepherds. Thank you.”
