My friend Tim Haley informed me that a new documentary on Medjugorje is coming out. Please check out the phenomenal trailer below. The film includes interviews with Cardinal Christoph Schonborn, Fr. Svet, visionary Mirjana, and Fr. Donald Calloway. The release date for the film is scheduled to be June 25, 2013, for the anniversary of the apparitions.
Dear friends, my apologies for getting this message out a couple days late — just returned from the 25th annual Medjugorje Conference at Notre Dame. I was blessed to be one of the speakers this year — what a phenomenal and anointed experience — and have been away from the computer. Here is Our Lady’s May 25th message from Medjugorje! Peace & abundant blessings to you.
“Dear children! Today I call you to be strong and resolute in faith and prayer, until your prayers are so strong so as to open the Heart of my beloved Son Jesus. Pray little children, pray without ceasing until your heart opens to God’s love. I am with you and I intercede for all of you and I pray for your conversion. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (ACTS 1:8)
If you are in the area please join us this Sunday — Pentecost Sunday — for a day of evangelization, prayer, music, and testimony in Clarendon Plaza in Arlington, Virginia. I was asked to share my testimony at the event, and am scheduled to speak at 5:25 pm. It is an evening when we will invoke the coming of the Holy Spirit in the public square, asking for His grace and empowerment, spreading the joy of the Lord through prayer ministry, music, and testimony, followed by Mass. Here is a great review of the Queen of Peace film screening that Christina Georgotas and I hosted at the Catholic University of America last month, posted on a phenomenal Catholic Web site called “Passionate Catholic.”
The reviewer, Dylan Himmerich, a gifted and anointed student at the university who’s very active in music ministry for Christ, is newly exposed to Medjugorje, yet captured the essence of the apparition site so poignantly after seeing the film. He writes:
“Millions of Catholics, Christians, and people of all religions and backgrounds have gathered and had their lives transformed in a little place called Medjugorje, located in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Medjugorje has been the source of life-changing conversions, vocations to religious life and the priesthood, spiritual and physical healing, and many more divine workings of God. Many people have developed a deeper relationship with the Blessed Mother and have become profoundly aware of God’s personal love.
“I highly recommend Queen of Peace to anyone who is open to witnessing, experiencing, and/or receiving the powerful working of God manifest through the gentle motherly love of the Blessed Virgin Mary.”
Kelly Minter singing “How Deep the Father’s Love.” Enjoy!
Here are a couple of pictures, taken after the Queen of Peace film screening April 25th at the Catholic University of America, where Christina Georgotas and I presented her beautiful documentary on Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje. It was an anointed evening, touched by the Lord. I was so glad to see so many students and seminarians there, and even a special guest showed up: Fr. Joseph Roesch, MIC, Vicar General of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception who often appears on EWTN.
Fr. Roesch was visiting from Rome, and I felt very honored and humbled to have him at our screening. He sat right in front. I handed him the microphone to start the evening by leading us in an opening prayer. Christina’s film was received with great joy and tenderness, there were even students who told me they had to run to the Blessed Sacrament right afterwards to spend time with Jesus. What power and beauty when a creative work can inspire such devotion!
Praised be Jesus & Mary forever and ever!
“Dear children; Anew, I am calling you to love and not to judge. My Son, according to the will of the Heavenly Father, was among you to show you the way of salvation, to save you and not to judge you. If you desire to follow my Son, you will not judge but love like your Heavenly Father loves you. And when it is the most difficult for you, when you are falling under the weight of the cross do not despair, do not judge, instead remember that you are loved and praise the Heavenly Father because of His love. My children, do not deviate from the way on which I am leading you. Do not recklessly walk into perdition. May prayer and fasting strengthen you so that you can live as the Heavenly Father would desire; that you may be my apostles of faith and love; that your life may bless those whom you meet; that you may be one with the Heavenly Father and my Son. My children, that is the only truth, the truth that leads to your conversion, and then to the conversion of all those whom you meet – those who have not come to know my Son – all those who do not know what it means to love. My children, my Son gave you a gift of the shepherds. Take good care of them. Pray for them. Thank you.”
